Wide receiver Randy Moss, 34, one of the most talented, but controversial, players in NFL history is retiring after thirteen tumultuous seasons, according to his agent.

Joel Segal said that while his client has received offers from various teams, he chose instead to call it quits.

A dynamic performer, Moss finishes his career with 954 passes for 14,858 yards and 153 touchdowns. He will mostly be remembered for his tenures with the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots.

According to Pro-Football.reference.com, Moss is fifth all-time on the career receiving yardage list; and second on career receiving touchdowns.

He also bounced around with Oakland and Tennessee.

However, Moss will also be remembered for various episodes of bad behavior over his career and for an inclination to not always play his hardest.
