Ray J, 31, landed in the hospital Monday morning when exhaustion set in after a night of partying for a product launch party, according to a statement from his spokesperson, and "will remain there for treatment for exhaustion and jet lag" for an undisclosed amount of time.

The rep said Ray J will remain there for treatment for exhaustion and jet lag for an undisclosed amount of time.

According to TMZ, who first broke the story, Ray J was found in his hotel room extremely disoriented and out of it, unable to get out of bed in the early morning hours. He was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, the report said.

Ray J's exhaustion was attributed to a confrontation with the family of the late Whitney Houston, namely sister-in-law Pat Houston, regarding seating arrangements at the awards ceremony, TMZ reported. However, Ray J's rep denied the claims to CNN, also ruling out alcohol or substance abuse for the hospitalization.

The rep said Ray J embarked on a 32-hour round trip from China where he performed a concert and had meetings regarding a new business. Upon landing, he immediately drove four hours to Las Vegas for the two events, adding that jet lag contributed to the exhaustion.
