Bravo reportedly has found someone to fill NeNe Leakes' shoes on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." The reality series veteran announced in June she would be leaving the show. Now, after a lengthy search for a replacement, the network appears to have found someone capable of bringing both drama and ratings to the ATL.

According to TMZ, Bravo has cast transgender model Amiyah Scott in Season 8. At 27, she will be one of the younger members of the "RHOA" cast. The site reports Scott transitioned 10 years ago. Since then, she has been linked to several rappers. It remains unclear what connection she has to the rest of the ladies of "RHOA" or what her storyline will center on.

This is not the first time it's been rumored that a new face would join -- or rejoin -- the cast. In July, we reported that Shereé Whitfield, who starred on the show in 2008, was considering returning. At the time it was unclear whether she would be cast as a housewife or a "friend" of the other cast members. Prior to that it was believed Kim Fields, who starred on "The Facts of Life," would be cast in the "Housewives" franchise. While that rumor remains unconfirmed, TMZ seems to believe it is true.

It seems likely Bravo is looking for two new cast members as there are two empty spots on the show. Prior to the news that Leakes is leaving, it was reported that Claudia Jordan, who was on the show for only one season, had been fired. In June, multiple outlets said the network had blindsided her with her firing. It was unclear if she would be offered a "friend" role or be axed completely.

The ladies of "RHOA" have largely been silent on the upcoming season. It has not been announced when the show will return.
