It's that time of year, when television shows are either given the axe or the green light.

ABC renewed a slew of popular shows for another season, according to a TV.com report.

Three of the network's popular reality television series were renewed. The Bachelor was renewed for what will be its 17th season, news that comes not long after the show's creators were slammed with a lawsuit alleging racist casting practices. The more family-friendly Dancing With the Stars was renewed for a 15th season. Relative newbie Shark Tank got the green light for a fourth season.

Renewed ABC dramas include Grey's Anatomy and the fairy tale hit Once Upon a Time. Also coming back is Revenge, the soap opera-esque show starring Emily VanCamp about a young woman who seeks to settle the score with the people who framed her late father.

Wednesday-night ABC comedies proved their staying power. Modern Family, Suburgatory, and The Middle were all renewed for another season. The Monday-night comedy-thriller Castle will also be back with more mysteries.

Cougar Town, starring Courteney Cox, stayed alive -- but the struggling show will move from ABC to TBS, TheWrap.com reported. The fates of other struggling ABC shows such as GCB, Missing, Last Man Standing, and Happy Endings still hang in the balance, according to TV.com.

As for Fox shows, the network canceled Alcatraz, The Finder, Breaking In, and I Hate My Teenage Daughter, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Touch, the new Fox drama starring former 24 actor Kiefer Sutherland, was renewed for a second season.

NBC renewed The Office, Collider reported. This will be the show's ninth season, and its future seems spotty, as fan favorites such as Rainn Wilson and Mindy Kaling are expected to start their own shows soon.

NBC also renewed Parenthood, as well as Tina Fey's comedy 30 Rock, for what will be its final season, according to Collider.

Also renewed was Community, Deadline.com reported.
