‘Riverdale’
How will Veronica (Camila Mendes) make amends after she causes a major problem in “Riverdale” Season 1, episode 8? The CW

Riverdale” Season 1 creator Robert Aguirre-Sacasa recently opened up about the upcoming episode of the hit The CW series.

In episode 8, titled “The Outsiders,” Aguirre-Sacasa said that it is Veronica’s (Camila Mendes) idea to organize a baby shower for Polly (Tiera Skovbye). Veronica thinks that reuniting Polly and her family with Jason’s (Trevor Stines) will be good for Betty’s (Lili Reinhart) sister and her baby. However, the baby shower will only cause more problems when Jason’s mom starts to become confrontational.

Other than dealing with the falling out at the baby shower, Veronica and her friends will also be extremely concerned about Archie (KJ Apa) and his dad, Fred (Luke Perry). The latter is confused about why majority of his staff at his construction company are bailing out on him. Archie decides to invite his fellow football players to help build a property for Fred’s client.

However, the teaser released by The CW shows one of the football players witnessing two unnamed guys destroying Fred’s construction tools. Archie believes that the two guys are members of the Southside Serpents, and he vows to take revenge. When he invites Jughead (Cole Sprouse) to help him out, Jughead becomes hesitant.

What Archie, Veronica and Betty still don’t know is that Jughead’s dad is a member of the dangerous group. Jughead is worried that his friends will abandon him if he tells them the truth. However, his secret will soon be found out before he can come clean about his dad’s connection in jeopardizing Fred’s business.

Meanwhile, the four main characters of “Riverdale” still do not have any idea who killed Jason. But there are speculations suggesting that Jughead’s dad might also have something to do with it because he’s been hiding Jason’s jacket at home.

“Riverdale” Season 1, episode 8 will air on The CW on March 30 at 9 p.m. EST.
