The presenters for the 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony have been announced.

Chris Rock will induct the Red Hot Chili Peppers, while Steve Van Zandt of The E Street Band will induct the Small Faces/Faces.

Chuck D of Public Enemy will induct The Beastie Boys, while John Mellencamp will present for Donovan.

Bette Midler will do the honors for singer/songwriter Laura Nyro while Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill from ZZ Top will induct Freddie King. Carole King will induct the late Don Kirshner.

While almost all of the presenters have been announced in one release, the Hall has yet to reveal who will induct controversial rock gods, Guns N' Roses.

At the April 14 induction ceremony, 16 new members will join the ranks of other rock legends.

Along with the famed musicians being inducted this year, engineer-producers Cosimo Matassa, Tom Dowd and Glyn Johns will be brought into the Rock Hall by The Band's Robbie Robertson.

Bands that have been made famous by their previously inducted leaders will also be honored at the ceremony. Smokey Robinson will be inducting the Blue Caps (Gene Vincent), the Crickets (Buddy Holly), the Famous Flames (James Brown), the Midnighters (Hank Ballard) and the Miracles (Robinson).

Although past inductions have been held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City, this year's ceremony will take place on-site at the actual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

HBO will air the induction ceremony on May 5 at 9 p.m. EST.
