Police recently arrested an Ohio man for allegedly stabbing someone who did not know Beyonce was married to Jay-Z.

Det. Marty Compton of the Parma Police told Fox 8 Cleveland that 31-year-old Ronald Deaver was arrested for allegedly stabbing another 48-year-old man on New Year's Eve. A heated argument about the pop culture trivia reportedly sparked the violence.

Deaver has been charged with felonious assault.

After the stabbing, which occurred at 11:00 p.m. on Dec. 31, the victim was taken to a local hospital and transferred to the MetroHealth Medical Center, Fox 8 reported. He is listed in good condition.
