There is no party like an S Club party and reports are that the original members of S Club 7 have reunited for a possible two-album deal and summer tours. News of the reunion has Twitter fans excited, causing S Club 7 to trend worldwide.

The UK Mirror is reporting that the group has signed a seven-figure deal to make do series of UK gigs and one-off appearances. There could possibly be two albums as well, the paper reports.

The guys have been inundated with approaches and offers over the past three years, but always said no, a source told the paper. But following a series of talks and meetings, they decided to go for it.

The members Hannah Spearritt, Paul Cattermole, Jo O'Meara, Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee and Bradley McIntosh were put together by Simon Fuller. Fuller was also the brainchild behind the Spices Girls.

S Club 7 had a BBC series called Miami 7 that shot them into stardom with four No.1s in the UK. The group also made the U.S. Top 10. The group achieved fame back in 1999 with their first single Bring It All Back, which debuted at the top of the Official Singles Chart. See S Club 7's full chart history here.

The source told the paper that the group figured it was a case of now or never. And if the gigs go well there is the option to release a new album, plus a Greatest Hits.

Everyone is now getting into shape, the source told the Mirror, and they are excited.

Also sharing in the group's excitement are fans on Twitter. Here are some of the reactions:
