Although Samsung (KRX:005935) did not mention anything about official accessories at the new Galaxy S5's unveiling last month, a set of images appeared on a mobile-accessories website Thursday, which suggest that the launch of the latest flagship smartphone could be accompanied by many types of cases and covers.

According to the website called MobileFun, it received images of as many as 11 varieties of official Galaxy S5 cases, including a Protective Hard Case Cover Plus, which is made of plastic and meant to be a rugged case. The protective case is listed with a price tag of $33.99.

Another accessory is an S View Wireless Charging Cover for the Galaxy S5 that comes with a cut-out, allowing users to answer calls, view the screen for time and incoming notifications without flipping open the cover. The cover is also said to allow users to charge their Galaxy S5 wirelessly.

The S View cover is expected to cost around $91.99 and will be available in white and black colors. The same cover without wireless-charging functionality is likely to cost $79.99, and will be available in more color variants.

Galaxy S5 Mini

While the tech world is preparing for the release of the Samsung Galaxy S5 on April 11, India-based Zauba.com, an import-tracking website, has leaked some information about an unannounced Samsung phone with the model number SM-G870.

Although the website did not offer further details about the handset, SM-G870 is believed to be the model number of the Galaxy S5 Mini. According to SamMobile, the ratio of the device’s price compared to the Galaxy S5 is similar to the one between the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini. However, users should consider this rumor with a pinch of salt as Samsung is yet to announce pricing details for the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Rumors of a Galaxy S5 mini appeared online prior to the unveiling of the phone, claiming that the device could feature a Super AMOLED display and run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. While the model number SM-G870 is yet to be confirmed, the Galaxy S5 mini is expected to hit markets in June.
