The Samsung Galaxy S5 has not yet released, but there is already increasing evidence that models will be added to the S5 family, including the Galaxy S5 Mini, Galaxy S5 Zoom and Galaxy S5 Active.

Most recently the specialty smartphone case maker Noreve launched webpages for crafted leather cases for the Galaxy S5 Mini and the Galaxy S5 Zoom. Currently, the webpages indicate that the products are “either in the manufacturing process or out of stock,” and also notes that they “will be available on-line very soon.”

Additionally, tech informant evleaks recently reported that the Galaxy S5 Active will go by the model number SM-G870x and will be offered by AT&T and Sprint as well as other carriers.

The Galaxy S5 variants have already been popping up in rumors for many months. In January, SamMobile reportedly confirmed the existence of the Galaxy S5 Mini and the Galaxy S5 Zoom. According to the tech website, the devices will release in June and May respectively, featuring a Super AMOLED displays and Android 4.4 KitKat running natively. In early March, a shipping manifest on Indian import site Zauba gave details about a Samsung device with the model number SM-G870a; several sources have considered this could be the Galaxy S5 Mini.

Many are puzzled at the prospect of Samsung releasing a Galaxy S5 Active, considering that the soon to be released Galaxy S5 holds an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. The Galaxy S4 Active also features an IP67 rating, which allowed Samsung to advertise it as an “active device.” However, the S4 Active included other features not seen on the original flagships, such as aqua mode, which lets users take photos underwater. The device also incorporates metal into is external design.

Samsung has not yet commented on possible Galaxy S5 Mini, Active or Zoom models. The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be avaialble in 150 countries starting April 11.
