The largest tablets manufactured by Samsung are the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. However, fresh reports reveal that Samsung is working on an even larger tablet of 18.4 inches.

According to Sam Mobile, an 18.4-inch Samsung tablet has been spotted on the import listings and the device has already reached India for the purpose of testing and evaluation. The large-sized tablet is listed as Samsung Tablet PC.

GSM Arena claims that it is too early to predict whether the device will be really launched by Samsung. The listing also reveals once the evaluation process is finished, the tablet will be destroyed. The destruction of the tablet will prevent the spreading of its leaked specifications.

Since the tablet is coming with a huge display, the South Korean company may target it to a niche audience. Hence, it may manufacture lesser number units of the 18.4-inch tablet. GSMArena adds that such a big tablet will be also suitable for commercial purposes.

The import documents reveal that the value of each 18.4 inches Samsung Tablet PC is INR 32,371, which equates to $507 according to the current exchange rates. It may represent how much money Samsung may have invested in building a single unit of its largest tablet. If the tablet is officially launched, it may carry a higher price tag.

On Aug. 13, the company will be unleashing the Galaxy S6 Edge + and the Galaxy Note 5 phablets through the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event in New York. Both the phablets similar features such as a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, Exynos 7420 chip, 4 GB of RAM.

A recent teaser released by Samsung Philippines shows that a larger 7-inch or 8-inch tablet will be unveiled, Android Authority reported. Speculations are rife that it may a new series of Samsung Galaxy Edge tablet. The South Korean tech giant is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Gear A smartwatch that will come with a round display and will be powered by an dual-core Exynos chipset.
