Much to Glenn Beck’s dismay, the Antichrist in the History Channel’s “Bible" miniseries isn’t supposed to be in President Barack Obama’s likeness, and the film’s makeup artist is says doesn’t see it.

The Fox pundit tweeted about the similarities between Satan on the show and a certain commander-in-chief early Monday morning.

Christa Schoeman was responsible for the Satan makeup for Moroccan actor Mehdi Ouzaani, as for other actors on the miniseries, and said there is no connection between the Lucifer depicted in the History Channel show and the 44th president of the United States.

“There was not an inch of thought about President Obama in my head at any time,” Schoeman told the Daily Beast, laughing at the suggestion that Satan looks like the commander-in-chief. “I can guarantee that President Obama had nothing to do with it in any shape or form.”

The rumor began to rise on Twitter Sunday night after the episode with Ouzaani aired.

Producers of “The Bible” shot down the rumor first thing Monday morning, calling it “utter nonsense,” but Twitter continued to speculate about the correlation between the History Channel’s Devil and Obama.

“The actor who played Satan, Mehdi Ouzaani, is a highly acclaimed Moroccan actor. He has previously played parts in several Biblical epics, including satanic characters, long before Barack Obama was ever elected our president,” executive producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey said in a statement.

Downey, best known for “Touched by an Angel,” added that they have “nothing but respect and love for our president, who is a fellow Christian. False statements such as these are just designed as a foolish distraction to try and discredit the beauty of the Bible.”

Schoeman reportedly hasn’t seen the finished version of “The Bible” but referred to it as “one of the most amazing experiences of my life.” She gushed over Burnett and Downey, saying they were “two of the most wonderful people” she had the pleasure of working with.

But not everyone is buying her dismissal of the connection. One reader at the Daily Beast commented, “Then it was sub-conscious. What does she think...that we are blind?” and another added, “Sorry, not buying it.  When so many people immediately see it, including Glenn Beck of all people, the denials will never be believable.”
