“Scandal” Season 6 star Guillermo Diaz recently opened up about his character Huck’s fate in the upcoming episodes.

While at the PaleyFest 2017 (via TV Line) on Sunday, the actor expressed his gratitude toward the fans who kept messaging him on social media following last week’s episode. On Thursday night, Huck’s girlfriend, Meg (Phoebe Neidhartt), shot him three times on the chest. Huck was left fighting for his dear life on the ground, but it is still unclear whether or not he’s dead or alive. When Diaz was asked to give a hint regarding his character’s fate, he said that his lips are sealed.

Meanwhile, “Scandal” star Joe Morton also opened up about his character Rowan’s future. In the previous episode, it was revealed that he was the one responsible for assassinating Frankie Vargas (Ricardo Chavira). But it wasn’t really Rowan who wanted the would-be president dead. Rather, it’s a mysterious shadowy organization who wants Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) to become the next president of the United States.

While at the panel, Morton clarified that he is not the enemy in Season 6. “I’m not the predator; I’m just a very smart prey. He’s always looking for escape,” he said in reference to his character.

In other news, the cast and creators of “Scandal” Season 6 are gearing up for the upcoming 100th episode of the hit ABC series. The installment will serve as a “what might have been” episode. Cast member Tony Goldwyn explained, “It actually informs your understanding of all of us when you get back to our normal schedule.”

Additionally, an exciting storyline between Mellie and Marcus (Cornelius Smith Jr.) will also be part of the upcoming 100th episode.

“Scandal” Season 6 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
