Summer is coming to an end, but TV season is just beginning. September is loaded with premieres, so get your DVRs ready!

Those looking for their favorite fall shows can find most of them returning this month (unless you’re a fan of The CW, which premieres new shows in October). “Big Bang Theory,” “The Blacklist,” and “Grey’s Anatomy” are just a few of the veteran programs that will return next month.

TV lovers looking for new shows can find them on almost every network. Michael Weatherly’s first post-“NCIS” gig, “Bull,” will premiere on CBS right after his former show on Sept. 20. Reality fans can keep up with the only male Kardashian when E! premieres “Rob & Chyna” on Sept. 9. Those looking for something heartwarming can watch “This Is Us” Sept. 20 on NBC, and they should be sure to keep a box of tissues nearby.
