Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian's Pre-Wedding Celebration Dinner Is Star-Studded

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian will be exchanging vows soon.

The no. 1 female tennis player in the world and the Reddit co-founder are exchanging "I Dos" on Thursday. However, a day before their big day, the couple had pre-wedding celebration dinner and Williams' celebrity friends were in attendance.

On Wednesday, Williams hosted a dinner for her wedding guests at the Emeril Lagasse's Meril restaurant. The couple welcomed around 100 guests including their family members, E! News reported.

"Teen Wolf" star Colton Haynes, "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria and husband, José Antonio Bastón, and "Widows" actress Cynthia Erivo were among the stars that were spotted in the venue. Williams' mom, Oracene Price, and her sisters were also among the guests.

Williams and Ohanian made sure that their pre-wedding celebration would be intimate. So the attendees were given Yondr pouches upon arrival to keep their cell phones locks. In this way, the celebration would be off the social media.

Everyone enjoyed New Orleans' famous beignets. They also shared bottles of champagne for the bride-to-be and groom-to-be. The publication noted that Williams and Ohanian's party was a success because they were seen smiling as they headed back to their car.

Ohanian and Williams welcomed a baby girl in September. The couple named their bundle of joy Alexis Olympian Jr. whom the athlete delivered to a hospital in Palm Beach.

Prior to their baby's arrival, Williams and Ohanian had been asking for parenting tips online. According to Ohanian his favorite tip was sleeping with a blanket a month before the baby's arrival and wrapping the baby in it. In that way, the child will have a bit of him.

Meanwhile, Williams also took to Reddit to ask other moms how she should prepare her hospital bag. A number of moms were helpful enough to answer her questions.

Williams and Ohanian first met at Cavalieri hotel in Rome on May 12, 2015, while they were both having breakfast. According to Williams, she did not like Ohanian being too close to her so she joked that there was a rat to get him to move away from her. However, his response surprised her.

"I'm from Brooklyn. I see rats all the time," Ohanian told her. After that, she invited him to her party and they eventually started dating.

Ohanian and Williams got engaged on Dec. 29, 2016. They will be getting married on Thursday.
