Fiona and her team were able to turn things around for Patsy’s Pies in Season 7 of “Shameless,” but is the Gallagher pseudo matriarch ready to move on to the next challenge?

A synopsis for episode 6 suggests she may have found a new, more fulfilling opportunity in saving a local laundromat from being purchased by businessmen from the North Side of Chicago. The establishment is owned by Etta (June Squibb), who considers herself to be a South Side “lifer” — much like Fiona (Emmy Rossum). It first came into the picture in episode 5, though it seems this Sunday she’ll finally decide to make a move.

While Fiona is flourishing — or at least staying afloat — other members of the family are floundering. Frank’s (William H. Macy) homeless shelter was saved in episode 5, when an unnamed billionaire decided to fund the establishment. With no more worries about paying bills or funding fixes around the house, Frank began collecting money for other more personal interests. During the episode, aptly titled “The Defenestration of Frank,” he’ll get busted pocketing his residents’ cash. An uprising will likely ensue, though the outcome remains unclear.

Frank won’t be the only one dealing with some serious drama during Sunday’s episode of “Shameless.” For several weeks V (Shanola Hampton) has had her suspicions about Svetlana’s (Isidora Goreshter) father. In episode 7, she and Kev (Steve Howey) may just find that her paranoia was justified. The synopsis suggests the couple will learn “a shocking secret” about Yvan (Pasha D. Lychnikoff).

Photos released by Showtime suggest that while Frank and Fiona’s differing positions in life will be the focus of the episode, there will be plenty more drama for viewers to enjoy. Debbie (Emma Kenne) is still hustling on the streets, though her last venture in panhandling has landed her in hot water with the Department of Child Services. Additionally, Lip (Jeremy Allen White) and his hacker friend, played by Jose Julian, will continue their new, risky line of work.
