After days of rumors and speculations in the media, the Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has finally admitted that she is engaged and pregnant.

The 24-year-old reality star confirmed to US Weekly that she is 15 weeks pregnant with her first child and the father is her fiancé Jionni LaValle.

LaValle had earlier announced the news on Twitter saying, “Thank You everyone!! Sorry about that wait but glad everyones happy!! Nicole and I are real excited!! Our baby is going to be #ShortnTan.

Snooki said she discovered the news “right after New Year’s,” however, she chose to remain tight-lipped due to some reasons.

She didn’t even clear her stand when her ex Emilio Masella accused her of allegedly having intimate relations with her Jersey Shore co-star Vinny Guadagnino.

Vinny could easily be the father, he said.

Finally, the pint-sized star broke her silence and made some candid confessions about why she “initially lied about pregnancy, how they found out, her cravings, how he proposed, their wedding plans and other details” to US Weekly.

I have different priorities now, Snooki said. I don't care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I'm ready and he's ready.

We are not going to screw this up, added fiancé LaValle.

Talking about her first reaction to the news, she said, “I was worried. It was New Year's Eve and we were in Vegas… 'S--t, I've been drinking!'”

“I did go crazy,” she said.
