One person was killed and two others wounded during a stabbing at Spring High School in Texas early Wednesday morning.

The victim of the fatal stabbing at Spring High School in Spring, Tex., was not immediately identified. It’s unclear whether the murder victim was a student at the high school. The person died at the scene, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Another victim, described as a 16-year-old boy, was airlifted to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, Click 2 Houston reported. The boy’s condition is not known.

The stabbing occurred around 7:14 a.m. Wednesday local time, KHOU reported. The Houston television station’s cameras captured video of two men being handcuffed and taken into custody following the incident.

UPDATE 9:57 a.m. EDT: Frantic parents of Spring HS students are heading to the Houston-area school for more information on Wednesday morning's stabbing.

“I’m just trying to make sure that my child is OK,” the mother of one junior at the school, who only gave her name as Jan, told KHOU. “I’ve actually texted and I’ve actually called, they are receiving phone calls. They are in their first-period class and everything is calm.”

UPDATE 10:50 am. EDT: The victim of the fatal stabbing has been identified as a Spring High School student, the Houston Chronicle reports.
