EMC Corp. (NYSE:EMC) is projected to post fourth quarter net income of $0.41 per share compared to $0.33 per share in the same period a year-ago.

Vmware, Inc. (NYSE:VMW) shares declined 4.75 percent to $83.56 in aftermarket trading session despite better-than-expected fourth quarter earnings. Its fourth-quarter net income rose to $119.9 million or $0.28 per share, from $56.4 million or $0.14 per share in the same period a year ago.
