Pizza and football have been synonymous for quite some time, and the two especially go hand-in-hand during the Super Bowl.

As the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos gear-up for the 48th Super Bowl, party planners and savers can get the most for their bucks with lots of big deals from such top brands as Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa John’s and many more.

Considering it’s one of the biggest times of the year for any pizzeria, many of the chains are suggesting fans make their orders well in advance.

Of course the best place to begin a search for pizza deals is mega-savings site Groupon. After punching in your email address and zip code, Groupon will spit out several of your favorite local pizzeria’s with their best deals of the day.

Many of the big chains will first ask you for your zip code to find the closest locations near you, and most will have their own specials throughout the day.

Dominos

Started more than 40 years in Michigan, Domino’s has an array of foods that could complete all your Super Bowl party food shopping with one online order or call.

Many of the deals involve combinations or two-topping pizzas with wings or breadsticks, and liters of cola to satisfy parties big and small.

Ordering online is the easiest way to use coupons by going to the main site and clicking the “coupon” button at the top.

Pizza Hut

One of the top selling pizza chains in history, Pizza Hut’s “Big Dinner Box” could be perfect for a party of 10 or more, complete with two medium pizzas and a choice of two sides.

Pizza Hut’s newest creation is a handed-tossed pie that is advertised with “lighter, airier crust”, and promises to be different every time.

They also offer catering services depending on where you live (as seen here).

Papa John’s

Known for featuring Denver quarterback Peyton Manning in their numerous commercials, Papa John’s actually received some flak for aligning with Seattle safety Earl Thomas in a Twitter advertisement two weeks ago.

But no matter your NFL allegiance, Papa John’s offers lots of specialty pizzas like buffalo chicken, spinach alfredo, or Tuscan six cheese. Some locations are also offering a new giant chocolate chip cookie dessert pie.

They’re even pitting customer favorites like classic cheese versus chipotle chicken and bacon against in each other to find out the “MVP”, Most Valuable Pizza.

Cici’s Pizza

Plenty to choose from on CiCi’s eclectic menu, including pastas, soups, salads, and the all-important wings with flavors like hot, mild, buffalo, BBQ, and garlic parmesan.

Little Caesar’s

Little Caesar’s might be the most convenient for the late party planner thanks to its hot-n-ready pies available right when customers walk in.

They also offer wings and combo deals, with a way to sign up for coupons here. You can also download LC’s personal ringtone here, or play games on the official website here.

Dubbed CPK for short, they also have a catering service and have more traditional and unique Italian food to offer. Or you can stop by the freezer section in the grocery store and snatch up a few of their pies if you have a smaller party.

Papa Murphy’s

Like Little Caesar’s, Papa Murphy’s specializes in quick turnaround, but goes a step further and encourages diners to order their pizza fresh and then take it home and cook in their own ovens. Every topping and combo is available, and for dessert PM’s also has a s’mores pizza.
