Bowser Jr., Shulk, Ganondorf and more may be coming to Nintendo’s upcoming “Super Smash Bros. Wii U,” according to a leak on NeoGAF.
The leak also included a 49-second-long video that showed the new characters in action.
Though Nintendo told IGN that it had nothing to confirm at this time, leaks show that the dog from Nintendo classic “Duck Hunt” and Ness from “Earthbound” may appear in the title. Rumors also say that Lucas, Wolf, Chorus Men, Ice Climbers and Snake will appear in eventual downloadable content.
“Super Smash Bros.” for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U will launch sometime during the fourth quarter for the Wii U and on Oct. 3 for the 3DS in North America. A number of characters are already confirmed for the game, including Bowser, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Link, Toon Link, Pac-man, Zelda, Yoshi, Peach, Sonic and Rosalina.
“Super Smash Bros.” was first announced for the two platforms during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in 2011 and began development in March 2012. The game was officially revealed during E3 in 2013 during Nintendo’s presentation.
