Supermodel Heidi Klum to Divorce Singer Seal: Report

German supermodel Heidi Klum plans to divorce her husband of more than six years, British singer Seal, according to a TMZ report.

Klum, 38, will reportedly file divorce papers early next week in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.

Married in Mexico in May 2005, the couple has three biological children: son Henry, 6; son Johan, 5; and daughter Lou, 2.

Seal, 48, also adopted Heidi’s daughter Helene, the offspring of her previous relationship with Italian entrepreneur Flavio Briatore.

TMZ speculated that the divorce settlement will involve a huge amount of money. According to Forbes magazine, Klum is believed to have earned $20 million last year alone. Seal’s earnings are not known.

Klum attended the Golden Globe awards presentation on Jan. 15 without Seal.

The Daily Mail newspaper in London indicated the couple was last seen together on Dec. 27, when Klum tweeted a photo of herself and her husband in Aspen, Colo.
