‘Supernatural’ Season 11 Spoilers: Episode 13 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Love Hurts’? [VIDEO]

“Supernatural” will pull at viewers’ heartstrings this Wednesday with its gut-wrenching Season 11 installment. During the CW show’s Valentine’s Day-themed episode, titled “Love Hurts,” fans will watch as Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) try to track down a V-Day killer — a murderer who’s been gruesomely ripping the hearts of it's victims out.

The first victim of the mysterious killer is a 19-year-old babysitter. According to a sneak-peek look at episode 13, audiences learn that the girl was viciously murdered in the Hudson suburbs by having the blood-pumping organ ripped from her chest.

“Was it like an ironic werewolf?” Dean, who gets called out by his brother for rocking a hickey necklace, asks in the promo video.

But it’s not a mythological creature that the Winchester brother’s are up against. According to episode 13’s synopsis, it’s something much worse. During Sam and Dean’s investigation of this heart wrenching case, the hunters will learn that they’re dealing with another deadly, ancient curse.

That means the boys will have to put away their silver bullets and return to the drawing board to figure out how to put an end to the lip-locking curse. According to the summary, once a victim is kissed by the curse, the person is “marked to die.” So fingers crossed our boys stay focused and keep their lips sealed. (We’re looking at you, Dean!)

Padalecki gave fans a glimpse at the blood-soaked Season 11 installment on Twitter when the actor shared a promo video of “Love Hurts.”

“Supernatural” airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. EST on the CW.
