“Supernatural” aired an episode in Season 12 this week that may have revealed Mary Winchester’s fate. Dean and Sam’s mother got an offer from the Grim Reaper to go back to heaven. She even told Sam that she feels that she doesn’t belong in this world. Is she going to die soon?

Next week, “Supernatural” leaves the mama drama behind and focuses on Lucifer who is currently occupying the body of a rock star named Vince Vincente (Rick Springfield). According to the synopsis of Season 12, episode 7, suitably titled “Rock Never Dies,” Lucifer realizes that as a rock star, he can get his fans to do whatever he wants.

Thrilled with this new power, Vince arranges to play at a secret VIP concert in order to kill all of them. With the carnage the fallen angel leaves behind, it’s no wonder that hunters Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) get their hands dirty in order to stop Lucifer once and for all.

Of course, joining the hunt is Castiel/Cas (Misha Collins) and former king of hell Crowley (Mark Sheppard) who enter the underbelly of the music industry in order to stop God’s once favorite son.

While Crowley aches for revenge and wants his kingdom back, Castiel is angry at Lucifer for using him as a vessel last season. He wants him to pay for what he did. We will finally get to see these two characters join forces for a single goal for the first time in “Supernatural.”

Unfortunately, The CW series is going on a brief hiatus. The upcoming episode won’t air next week but next to next week.

“Supernatural” Season 12, episode 7 premieres on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
