“Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry might quit the MTV reality show that made her famous. Lowry first gained stardom as a pregnant 17-year-old, but now she wants to be known for something else.

One of her friends convinced her to stay on the show. “When I complained to [a friend] about filming for Teen Mom and said that I wanted to be known for other things outside of that, he just told me to ride the wave until I get to where I want to be,” Lowry wrote in her new book, “Hustle & Heart,” which is scheduled to be released later this month.

Lowry, 24, may have been implying “Teen Mom 2” would end soon. “I want to show everyone that even though I grew up like white trash and got knocked up at seventeen, I can get a Bachelor’s degree and raise children who blow people away with their manners, wit and intelligence,” she wrote. “Now, especially with the show coming to an end, it’s time for my accomplishments to stand out.”

There hasn’t been any confirmation from MTV that it was cancelling “Teen Mom 2.” In fact, the show's stars have been filming Season 8 of the hit series.

Aside from her career, Lowry has personal drama to worry about, too. She posted cryptic tweets Wednesday which seemed to be aimed at ones of her exes. She has 6-year-old son, Isaac, with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and 2-year-old son, Lincoln, with estranged husband Javi Marroquin.

“When a person knows your weaknesses & never uses them against you, it speaks volumes,” she tweeted to her 1.18 million Twitter followers Wednesday. “When someone uses your weaknesses against you, it proves what kind of person THEY are.”

But Lowry didn’t stay down for long. Hours later she was in a better mood. “Literally one text can make my whole day,” she wrote early Thursday morning.

“Hustle & Heart” will hit book shelves Nov. 22.
