“Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans hit back at fans after she said she didn't want to go through with chin surgery. She met with Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer earlier in the week, but has since backed out. The MTV reality star has already had a breast augmentation and was considering getting her chin shaved down.

But Evans’ choice didn’t come without criticism. Some people made fun of the way she wrote her post, since a redundancy made it confusing. “Anyone can work hard enough to get the body they deserve if they work hard enough for it,” she wrote.

The 24-year-old clarified her statement to her naysayers. “Anybody can work hard enough to get the body they deserve, IF they work hard enough for it. Use your brain,” she tweeted Tuesday. Then she corrected another fan who was confused by her statement and said, “That’s not what I said at all.”

The trolls who tried to correct her writing are the same ones who made her consider facial reconstruction. "She’s insecure about her face,” an insider told Radar Online Tuesday. "Fans make fun of her, so she wants get her chin done.”

On the same day, Evans told Us Weekly what changed her mind: “When I heard how extensive that surgery is, and how he told me I’d have to get a CT scan and X-rays and the whole nine yards, every single detail, every bone in my jaw, I was like, ‘I don’t want to do this.’ ”

One person who didn’t back out of surgery with Dr. Miami, as Salzhauer is better known, was Evans’ “TM2” co-star Kailyn Lowry. The Delaware resident has been recovering since she got a Brazilian butt lift, liposuction and tummy tuck. Lowry, 24, shared a photo with the Snapchat surgeon Monday, presumably after she saw him for her two-week postoperative appointment. In a different Instagram post, she lamented that while Miami is beautiful, she was homesick.

Lowry also faced criticism. While Evans way slammed for the way she wrote her post about opting out of plastic surgery, Lowry faced backlash for going through with the procedure. She clarified that the only person she wanted to impress was her husband, Javi Marroquin, and lamented last week, “Damned if I do, damned if I don’t. So I might as well do what I want.”
