"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans shares why she decided not to get plastic surgery on her chin. MTV

Plastic surgeries are common among the stars of MTV’s “Teen Mom” franchise, but Jenelle Evans won’t be giving into the craze. While she previously underwent a breast augmentation, Jenelle revealed on Instagram Tuesday that she will not be getting work done by Dr. Michael Salzhauer, who is best known as Dr. Miami on Snapchat.

“Anyone can work hard enough to get the body they deserve if they work hard enough for it,” Jenelle, 24, wrote on Instagram. “Honestly to everyone out there, I backed out. I’m staying the way I am.”

The “Teen Mom 2” star, whose post include a shot of her toned physique, thanked her supporters for giving her the confidence to turn down the option to have surgery. Jenelle added that “every single” fans’ comments helped her make her decision.

Jenelle was revealed to be in talks to get surgery from Dr. Miami on Jan 22. In a series of Dr. Miami’s Snapchats she said she felt her chin was “too pointy.” According to Starcasm, the doctor said he could not do the chin procedure and would recommend her to a maxillofacial surgeon.

While Jenelle isn’t going under the knife, one of her co-stars was recently operated on by the famed doctor. Last week, “Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry received a Brazilian butt lift and tummy tuck from the surgeon. Her procedures were documented on the doctor’s Snapchat account. Since her surgery, Kailyn, 23, has taken to social media to defend her choice to alter her image and shoot down rumors she received butt implants.

Several “Teen Mom OG,” “Teen Mom 2” and “Teen Mom 3” stars have opted for plastic surgery over the years, but Dr. Miami is only responsible for one other "Teen Mom” star's surgery. Briana DeJesus, who rose to fame on MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” before jumping to the now-canceled “Teen Mom 3,” got several procedures done at the same time as Kailyn. She received a Brazilian butt lift, labiaplasty, liposuction and a breast augmentation in an effort to achieve the “perfect” body and be a “cool, young mom."
