Tim Tebow refuted reports on Twitter on Tuesday that he would become the next contestant on The Bacehlor.

Tebow tweeted out, Haha rumors can be crazy! Even though I've watched the show before, I'm definitely not gonna be on the Bachelor. #JessePalmer.

The tweet comes a day after Bachelor host Chris Harrison told Access Hollywood that he personally invited Tebow to come onto the show.

I've actually met Tim Tebow. I met him about becoming our next Bachelor, he told the entertainment television program. He did say yes...but he would never do it. He has a little job called quarterback for at least another year.

Whether Tebow ever told Harrison yes is debatable, but he made it clear on Tuesday that he wouldn't be appearing on ABC's hit show. He wouldn't be the first athlete to appear on the show - former Giants quarterback Jesse Palmer appeared in 2004 - but Tebow is likely a bit more focused on leading the Denver Broncos back to the playoffs than appearing on a gimmicky, cheesy dating show.

The amount of interest in Tebow on The Bachelor is just the tip of the iceberg of the general interest in who the talented quarterback is dating. Tim Tebow Girlfriend is consistently a hot search topic on Google, while many celebrities have reportedly been interested in dating the devout Christian.

Earlier this week US Weekly reported that pop singer Taylor Swift had a crush on him. Reality televison star Kim Kardashian and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn had also been apparently interested in dating God's Quarterback, but the former Florida star has kept a very low dating profile.

That desire for privacy led many to doubt from the very beginnng that Tebow would be interested in The Bachelor, but that didn't stop many from speculating about it.
