The year 2016 is quickly coming to a close which means it is time to look back on some of the most memorable moments. The internet has a way of making things go viral and it is no surprise that we will leave this year behind reminiscing about unique YouTube videos.

10. Brothers Convince Little Sister of Zombie Apocalypse

Brothers are supposed to mess with their little sisters but these two guys managed to convince their younger sibling that a zombie apocalypse hit their Washington hometown. High off of the medication she received after getting her wisdom teeth removed, the teen went into panic mode when she believed that she had to flee from her house and escape zombies. Since its release in April, the video has received almost 22 million views.

9. The $21,000 First Class Airplane Seat

Flying from Dubai to New York City on Emirates Airline, YouTube sensation Casey Neistat received a first class upgrade for free. During his 14-hour flight, he documented his experience in all its luxury. Since its release in September, the video has received almost 27 million views.

8. Donald Trump: “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” (HBO)

John Oliver spotlights some of President-elect Donald Trump’s behavior in this hilarious video. Snippets including the time he made fun of Florida senator Marco Rubio, when he wished “haters and losers” a happy Sept. 11, spontaneous tweets which created Twitter feuds, lying and more. The video released in February has received more than 30 million views.

7. Channing Tatum & Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls)” vs. Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s “Pony” | “Lip Sync Battle”

In January, husband and wife Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum went head-to-head on the Spike cable network television show where the actor brought out singer Beyoncé. Together they performed her hit song “Run the World (Girls)” in which he dressed up as the songstress in full hair, makeup and attire. During her performance, the actress mirrored her husband’s “Magic Mike XXL” dance routine to the song “Pony” by Ginuwine. The video has since received over 36 million views.

6. Water Bottle Flip Edition | Dude Perfect

Flipping a water bottle has never been so fun until 2016. In the video, released in July, these men managed to flip bottles into a car cup holder, onto a ladder and more. The video has since received 41,994,798 views.

5. Grace VanderWaal: 12-Year-Old Ukulele Player Gets Golden Buzzer - “America's Got Talent” 2016

During the June episode of the NBC series, a gifted 12-year-old took the stage to play her ukulele while belting out a beautiful song with an amazing voice that caught the judges and audience by surprise. The video has since received more than 46 million views. She went on to win Season 11 of the competition.

4. Nike Football Presents: The Switch ft. Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane, Anthony Martial & More

The video, which switches the life of soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo with a young boy, shows the world just how dedicated the athlete is to the game he loves. Released in February, the video has received over 57 million views.

3. What’s Inside a Rattlesnake Rattle?

Anyone wondering what was inside of a rattlesnake rattle got their answer this year. In April, a father and son order one off of Ebay and dissected one. The video has received more than 59 million views.

2. Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen/PIKO-TARO

This funny video features the creation of the apple-pen and the pineapple-pen, along with a song that explains how these items came about. Since its YouTube debut in August, it has received more than 95 million views.

1. Adele Carpool Karaoke

British singer Adele appeared on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” in January alongside host James Corden. The clip showed the two singing her greatest hits “Someone Like You” and “Hello” as they drove around London. The video has since received over 135 million views.
