Toyota Motor Corp <7203.T> said on Thursday its groupwide global vehicle sales fell 27 percent in January-March from a year earlier to 1.767 million units.

For the parent only, which excludes trucks and cars sold by subsidiaries Hino Motors Ltd <7205.T> and Daihatsu Motor Co <7262.T>, sales fell 28 percent to 1.53 million units, a Toyota spokesman said.
