Episode 2 of "True Blood" will air on HBO on Sunday, June 29 at 9 p.m. EDT. HBO

“True Blood” returned with a bang on June 22. The hit HBO series kicked off its seventh and final season with an attack on Bon Temps that left a major character dead and put multiple familiar faces in a dangerous situation.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! Do NOT continue reading unless you watched the Season 7 premiere of “True Blood.”

The drama will continue in episode 2, “I Found You,” and fortunately you don’t have to wait long to find out what will happen. HBO has released the synopsis for the second episode and it sounds just as juicy (and bloody) as the season premiere.

On June 29, viewers will once again check in on the Bellefleur attack hostages -- Arlene, Holly and pregnant Nicole. The last time we saw them things looked grim, with police officer Kevin getting taken and ripped to shreds right in front of them. The ladies had a group of people searching for them, but no one thought to head to the abandoned Fangtasia bar in Shreveport. Their luck may change in episode 2 when the women look to “a familiar face as a possible liberator from the H-vamps.”

Could this possible liberator be another hostage in the Fangtasia basement? Or will a friendly vampire face swing by the shut down bar?

Meanwhile in Bon Temps, Sookie and Jason will work on cleaning up the town and securing the safety of the residents. The body that Sookie stumbled across in the woods on her way home in episode 1 will provide clues to the fate of Bon Temps … and, unfortunately, it’s not looking good. The young woman’s diary leads Sookie and the others to the neighboring town of Saint Alice, where they make a frightening discovery.

Tara’s death won’t be forgotten in episode 2. Lettie Mae will continue mourning her daughter by trying to channel her family past, but it sounds like she’ll be resorting to her old inner demons (alcohol and drugs) to do so. The devastated mother will look to Lafayette, but when he refuses to help Lettie Mae turns to Willa. Will Willa cave in to Lettie Mae’s demands? Or will she listen to what the Reverend told her?

Finally, episode 2 might see the return of Eric. Pam will continue her search for her maker, which will take her to a “very familiar place.”

Is Eric still alive in Sweden? Or will Pam stumble across her maker in another location? “True Blood” fans will have to wait and see!
