President Donald Trump's family is about to get a little larger. The president's third child, Eric, 33, has announced that his wife, Lara, also 33, was pregnant. She is expected to give birth in September, People reported Monday.

The baby, a boy, will be President Trump's ninth grandchild. The expectant couple had been keeping the news secret for months.

"Eric’s dad was so excited that we were worried he’d blurt it out at a press conference,” Lara Trump, a former television producer, told People. The couple married at Mar-a-Lago, the president's "Southern White House," in 2014.

Trump's son will most certainly benefit from the Trump name and the vast business empire that it represents. His father, Eric, took control of the Trump Organization with the president's oldest son, Donald Jr., and longtime Trump executive Alan Weisselberg, after the President separated himself from the organization that bears his name. The president was criticized at the time for not establishing a blind trust to insulate himself from his organization's business operations.

On Sunday, Eric Trump said the Trump Organization would halt the development of overseas real estate projects.

"In light of politics, we’ve said ‘hey, listen, we’re not going to expand anymore internationally. We’re not going to do any new international projects.’ And that was a big piece of what we did," Eric Trump told Fox News.

Trump also denied allegations the Trump Organization has business ties to Russia.

"If we had projects in Russia, you'd have our name on those projects. We're not exactly bashful about hiding our name," Trump said, calling the allegations "a little bit maddening."

While the Trump family has denied business ties to Russia since Donald Trump entered politics, that wasn't always the case. In 2008, Donald Trump Jr. said, "in terms of high-end product influx into the U.S., Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets," He added: "We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia."

Eric Trump's future son will have many older cousins to help teach him how to navigate the public spotlight that follows his famous family. Donald Trump Jr. has five children with wife Vanessa Trump, while Ivanka Trump has three children with husband Jared Kushner.
