The protesters in Turkey clashed with police over the weekend of June 1 amid controversy surrounding Gezi Park and the policies of Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan. While some of the protesting resulted in violence, other moments became cheerful, with plenty of chanting and dancing.
