Harry Styles' fans are outraged after the singer was groped during a recent performance.

On Saturday, the One Direction singer performed at the Hollywood Bowl. In the middle of his performance, he was standing at the edge of the stage when one fan groped his crotch. Although the "Sign of the Times" crooner continued his performance, he was visibly affected by the incident as he "avoided the section that fan was standing in," an eyewitness told Yahoo! Celebrity UK.

The incident was captured on camera and shared on Twitter. A number of Styles' fans have since expressed their anger over it on social media, calling the incident sexual assault. Using the hashtag #RespectHarry, fans came to the defense of the singer who had been touched inappropriately. "Harry Styles is not a womanizer and he is not a sexual object either. #RespectHarry," Luke Waltham wrote.

"This is flat out disgusting and vile. I am sick and tired of his so called 'fans' treating him like this, he deserves better #RespectHarry," another user wrote.

In the wake of Harvey Weinstein's sexual harassment and assault controversy, several celebrities have come forward to share their own experiences. While most of the victims were women, the issue is not exclusive to ladies. Styles getting groped mid-performance is just one incident of male sexual harassment. Terry Crews and James Van Deer Beek also confessed that they were sexually assaulted by men in power.

According to the "White Chicks" star, he was at a Hollywood function in 2016 when a high-level executive came over to him and groped his privates. He revealed that he had been shocked and surprised. A lot of things came to his mind, but he opted to keep his cool because he didn't want to have the incident splashed all over the media the following day. Despite his initial reluctance to come forward with his own experience with harassment, Crews shared his personal story to show support for other victims.

Meanwhile, "Dawson's Creek" alum Van Der Beek also had a similar experience when he was younger. "I've had my [private parts] grabbed by older, powerful men, I've had them corner me in inappropriate sexual conversations when I was much younger..." he wrote on Twitter.
