That little blue check mark next to a Twitter handle means you’re legit. It means you are who you say you are – at least its supposed to.

According to Twitter, Danney Williams is who he claims to be – former President Bill Clinton's real son.

Williams’ Twitter profile now carries the blue check mark next to his name, which is supposed to be a confirmation of identity.

Author, filmmaker and verified Twitter user Jack Posobiec tweeted that the man who thinks he is Clinton’s son has been “verified” by the site, but the former president has not claimed Williams as his biological son.

Williams' profile description reads: “I’m the son of the 42nd President of the United States- Bill Clinton. #ClintonKid #BillClintonSon.”

Last year, Twitter changed their rules so anyone could be considered for a verified account. Although this doesn't mean it’s easier to acquire the little blue check mark.

"Account types maintained by users in music, acting, fashion, government, politics, religion, journalism, media, sports, business, and other key interest areas" can get a check mark, Twitter stated on their website.

Williams, who some people claim looks a lot like Clinton, has his Twitter location as Arkansas, the state where Clinton was Attorney General and Governor.

A few days before the 2016 presidential election started, Williams put together a press conference where he requested a Clinton DNA sample to prove his declaration.

At the National Press Club on Nov. 1 , Williams passionately pleaded to former Clinton, intern and mistress Monica Lewinsky and Hillary Clinton, just to name a few.

“I heard Hillary say she spent her life helping children. If black lives truly matter to her, why not mine?” he said. “I also want to take this opportunity to appeal to my step-mom, Hillary Clinton.”

“She has the power to have Bill Clinton provide a DNA sample,” something Williams is trying to push for and has even threatened legal action if it doesn't. “Hillary, please don’t deny my existence. You are my step-mother, Chelsea is my sister, Bill Clinton is my father.” He added: “I heard her say before it takes a village to raise a kid, I just want her to accept me in her village today.”

In a letter sent to her lawyers, Williams asked for the blue dress Lewinsky wore when she worked with Clinton in the White House.

“There is one other way the question of whether Bill Clinton is my father would be by obtaining a small, complete and valid DNA sample from your blue dress, which multiple news sources reported has been preserved,” Williams wrote, according to a statement posted by InfoWars. “I respectfully request you provide the sample of genetic matter we require so that we may match it with my own sample.”

Williams also tried to strike a relationship with Lewinsky in the letter. “I was not surprised to learn that Hillary called you a ‘stalker’ and much, much worse. Hillary Clinton abused us both. I call out to you for your help,” he wrote.

No one from the Clinton family has recognized Williams’ presence, or that he could be Clinton's biological son.
