Samsung's recently launched, super-slim Galaxy A8 will reportedly be made available in China sometime toward the end of July. According to a new report, the much-anticipated pricing details have been revealed.

Samsung Galaxy A8 Price

Even though Samsung did not reveal the price of the Galaxy A8 publicly, the Chinese website CNMO has reportedly got the information specific to China. The 16 GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy A8 will apparently cost 3,199 CNY, which roughly translates to $515. On the other hand, 32 GB model of the A8 will set the buyers back by 3,499 CNY, or $564. To corroborate the pricing details further, Phone Arena says, the aforesaid cost ambit of the device is similar to the rumored price.

Samsung Galaxy A8 Specifications

As the slimmest smartphone ever from Samsung, this device comes with a thickness of only 5.9 mm. Plus, the handset is 158 mm tall and 76.8 mm wide, which is reportedly same as the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, notes Phone Arena. As for the Galaxy A8 specifications, the smartphone will feature a large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, aided by 1080p screen resolution. It will be powered by a 64-bit (Snapdragon 615) chipset, along with an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor, and will be backed by a good 2 GB of RAM unit.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 will sport a solid 16 MP rear-facing unit camera LED flash. Additionally, a generous 5 MP front-facing shooter unit will be housed at the front for selfies and video chats. As mentioned earlier, the device will come equipped with 16 GB or 32 GB of built-in storage capacity and microSD card slot for further expansion of up to 128 GB. The A8 smartphone will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, out of the box.

Meanwhile, similar to the high-end flagship Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S8 will come with a fingerprint scanner affixed on the home button. Furthermore, the entire configuration will be held together and powered by a good 3,050 mAh battery unit.
