U.S. President Obama’s $2 Golf Game: Democrats-Republicans Unite

President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner put aside their political parties and teamed up for a triumphant golf game over Vice President Joe Biden and Ohio Republican Governor John Kasich.

The close match was not decided until the final 18th hole with each team make superb shots throughout the match at the par 72 East Course at Joint Base Andrews.

The golf game was designed to foster friendlier personal relationships between the men who are in different political parties fighting over issues such as the economy.

The men reportedly made a friendly wager chipping in $2 a piece, which Obama and Boehner pocketed with their win.
