Two high-profile quarterbacks are the subject to questions about their ability to play in Week Three after suffering injuries on Sunday.

Philadephia Eagles' Michael Vick has been cleared for all football activities, including Sunday's game against the New York Giants, according to ESPN.

Just because he doesn't have symptoms today doesn't mean he doesn't wake up without symptoms tomorrow, said head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder on Wednesday. That's the process throughout the league, and it's the process with anybody. I don't anticipate that, but that could happen.

Vick suffered a concussion in his return to Atlanta against the Falcons, and returned to practice Thursday. Barring a setback, Vick will be back in action, and will have to wear a different helmet. Mike Kafka, 24, who filled in admirably for Vick against the Falcons, would be called upon again should Vick not be able to play.

The news is almost as encouraging for Dallas Cowboys' Tony Romo, who underwent another CT scan Thursday, and has an extra day off as the Cowboys face the Washington Redskins on Monday night. Romo suffered a fractured rib and collapsed lung in the Cowboys' 27-24 overtime win at San Francisco. Romo sat out some of the second half, before returning to the game for final-moment heroics to lift Dallas to the victory.

All indications are that Romo will play, and he would likely need a painkilling injection. Veteran backup Jon Kitna is Romo's backup, and Kitna has already stated that he expects Romo to be the starter on Monday.
