Manchester City target Wesley Sneijder came up big for his current club Inter Milan in the Italian Supercoppa, but was it wasn't enough to hold off local rival AC Milan, 2-1, in Beijing, in Supercoppa.

Sneijder scored off a free kick in the first half. Milan turned things around and picked up their intensity in the second half when Clarence Seedorf found Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a header goal past Julio Cesar.

Milan responded later when Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato's shot went off the post but teammate Kevin-Prince Boateng was there to follow it up to give Milan the victory.
