Things got ugly for Wolverhampton early on, as Arsenal dominated Wednesday's Premier League match at Molineux Stadium, 3-0.

Sebastien Bassong received a red card in the ninth minute for his foul on Theo Walcott in the box, and it was all downhill from there for the home side.

Robin van Persie broke out of his minor slump with a cheeky penalty-kick score, and Walcott followed it up with a sharp shot two minutes later to give the Gunners a comfortable lead.

Playing with 10 men, Wolves managed to not the let the Gunners extend their lead for nearly an hour, before conceding a Yossi Benayoun strike from distance in the 69th minute.

The Gunners took 12 shots with seven on goal, while Wolves managed 10 shots with two on target. Arsenal had possession for 72 percent of the match.
