We’ve already seen one majorly bizarre incident during the World Cup thanks to Uruguay’s Luis Suarez, a violent punch from Cameroon’s Alex Song and several dances from Colombia and Ghana, but our first major and borderline gross injury came Wednesday during Argentina’s 3-2 victory over Nigeria.

In the 66th minute, Nigeria midfielder Michel Babatunde was taken off the field after a powerful shot from teammate Ogenyi Onazi struck his right arm and appeared to snap it in two.

The video below, which is pretty graphic, should only be watched at the viewer’s discretion.

There is no official word on how serious the 21-year-old is injured.

Last term, Babatunde made 12 appearances with Ukraininan Premier League squad FC Volyn Lutsk after two years with Kryvbas.
