Another new voice may be headed to the mix of “The View.” Co-anchor of “Good Morning America Weekend” Paula Faris is being considered for the daytime talk show to join new hire Michelle Collins in the wake of host Rosie Perez's departure. Faris had previously guest hosted “The View” in the last year.

Variety broke the news that Faris was in talks to join the show for Season 19. She potentially could continue her stint at “Good Morning America Weekend” while working on the weekday shooting schedule of “The View.” Faris would join newly announced co-host Michelle Collins, moderator Whoopi Goldberg, Republican commentator Nicolle Wallace and recent addition Raven Symoné.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it is still uncertain whether Paula Faris would join as a full-time host or take on another batch of guest host gigs. Last summer, “The View” overhauled its cast with the addition of Perez, Wallace and former daytime host Rosie O’Donnell. Only Wallace remains to continue with the show when it returns to ABC in the fall.

The new season of “The View” begins Sept. 19.
