"Vikings" Season 4 Spoilers
Ragnar (Travis Fimmel), pictured with his son Ivar (James Quinn Markey) and Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland), will get into a fight with his wife during Season 4, episode 4 of "Vikings." History Channel

Ragnar’s (Travis Fimmel) list of foes keeps growing longer and longer as Season 4 of “Vikings” continues. But what happens when one of his enemies happens to be sharing his bed? According to a sneak-peek video of the upcoming History Channel installment, audiences will catch a glimpse at what happens when the King of Norway goes head-to-head with Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) in episode 4, titled “Yol.”

In the promo, Ragnar snatches his son out of the arms of his wife, hoping to get Ivar (James Quinn Markey) to partake in the Christmas festivities. But when Ivar refuses to hang decorations with his brothers, his mother runs to his rescue.

“Give him to me!” Aslaug shouts after her husband tries to force her son to hang an ornament.

“Stop treating him like there’s something wrong with him. Let him join in with the other boys and be like the other boys,” Ragnar replies.

But Aslaug reminds her husband that Ivar’s not like the other boys. “He’s different. You can’t make him what you want. You can’t make him like you … he’s not you,” she snarls.

Ragnar barks back, telling Aslaug that if she treats Ivar, like a cripple than “he will be a cripple.”

In Season 2 of “Vikings” it was revealed that Aslaug had given birth to a son without any bones in his legs. After the child was born, Ragnar advised his wife to kill the boy — a recommendation that Siggy (Jessalyn Gilsig) agreed with.

“Ragnar was right. This child will never walk. By the Gods you must put him out to die,” Siggy told her.

“Thank you for your good advice. But I’d rather die myself then take it,” Aslaug responded.

Aslaug has been Ivar’s champion since day one and reminds her husband in the Season 4 sneak-peek that it’s her duty to care for him.

“I love him just as much as you do,” Ragnar says to her in the promo video.

“You don’t act like it,” she answers.

“Vikings” airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST on the History Channel.
