The Walking Dead
"The Walking Dead" characters Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) will aid in the search for one of Alexandria's citizens in Season 6, episode 15. AMC

With just two episodes left of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Season 6, fans are already bracing themselves for the worst as one of the group’s strongest members has run away from the safety of Alexandria. In the penultimate episode of the season, it seems new dangers and old threats will plague the survivors and their otherwise peaceful way of life.

Episode 15 of the zombie drama, titled “East,” will pick up after the cliffhanger ending of the latest episode, which saw Carol (Melissa McBride) discretely leave Alexandria after her own kill count becomes unacceptably large to her. Despite her insistence that she knows what she’s doing and doesn’t want anyone coming after her, the official synopsis for the upcoming episode reveals that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the others aren’t going to honor that request. However, with walkers and Saviors wandering about the area, it's not a great time to be sending out search parties or roam around by one's self.

For more information about what to expect, fans can turn to the episode 15 teaser, which shows that Daryl (Norman Reedus) will be impacted by the news that Carol left more than anyone else. After [SPOILER ALERT] losing Denise (Merritt Wever) to the man he previously passed up the opportunity to kill, Dwight (Austin Amelio), he’s not in the calmest of head spaces. While Rick organizes a search party for Carol, Daryl seems to go rogue with his newly returned motorcycle and crossbow. Elsewhere, Glenn (Steven Yeun) mentions that he’s concerned for Daryl's safety since he’s on a crusade of his own to find Carol and, possibly, seek revenge on the Saviors and Dwight. After all, no one steals his crossbow, his brother’s motorcycle and kills the town’s only doctor and gets away with it. Not to say that he fully got away unscathed, thanks to Eugene (Josh McDermitt). Could another showdown be in the works?

In addition, a preview clip that premiered during Sunday’s episode of the “Talking Dead” after show gives a bit more of a peak at what fans can expect from the final episode of the season before the big finale. Fans of the new romance between Rick and Michonne (Danai Gurira) will get a closer look at their relationship. In the clip, the duo exchanges pillow talk about the logistics of keeping Alexandria safe in the wake of their spectacularly violent victory against the Saviors. Although they’ve presumably learned that there are some Saviors remaining that have been spying on Alexandria, they don’t seem too concerned that their walls won’t hold — especially now that Maggie (Lauren Cohan) is the one that’s apparently leading the wall reinforcement team.

To find out how it all plays out, fans can tune in to the penultimate episode of "The Walking Dead" Season 6 on Sunday, March 27, at 9 p.m. EDT on AMC.
