LG is back in news with a brand new mid-range smartphone bundled with cutting-edge configurations. To be specific, LG has officially launched the budget-friendly “LG G4 Beat.” However, it is worth noting that the LG G4 Beat apparently has been masquerading as the "LG G4 S" in all the leaks reported thus far, notes GSM Arena.

As far as the key LG G4 Beat specifications go, the handset will apparently feature a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display, aided by 1080p screen resolution. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a 64-bit, octa-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 615) SoC, running at 1.5 GHz and backed by a solid 1.5 GB of RAM configuration. On the software end, this smartphone will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, along with LG’s custom UX 4.0.

When it comes to memory specification, the LG G4 Beat will reportedly come equipped with 8 GB of internal storage capacity. In addition, there will also be a microSD card slot to enable further expansion. Moreover, the phone will sport a modest 8 MP rear-facing camera along with Color Spectrum Sensor and Laser Auto Focus support. To top it off, the phone's camera will feature the highly-regarded Manual Mode, as seen in the flagship LG G4. This mode apparently gives full creative control to the user to take care of every minute aspect of the shot. But then, some of the markets in Latin America will reportedly get a new variant including a 13-MP primary camera unit. There will also be a 5-MP front-facing camera with Gesture Interval Shot support to capture killer selfies.

Apart from the standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and NFC, the LG G4 Beat will also support 4G LTE. Speaking of size, the device will come with a thickness of 9.85 mm and will weigh 139 g. More importantly, the device will be powered by a modest 2,300 mAh removable battery unit.

Speaking of the LG G4 Beat release date, the company says the device will debut in July in selected markets like Europe and Latin America. This will be followed by a slew of other countries like Canada, India, Russia, South Africa, Singapore and Turkey, among others. The LG G4 Beat can be purchased in the following colors: Metallic Silver, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold.
