You’ve probably seen a few viral clips of “Lip Sync Battle” on the Web, but the finale on Spike is something fans will want to tune in for. The LL Cool J-hosted show will feature the stars of Fox’s music drama “Empire” as they lip sync their hearts out.

Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard play exes Cookie and Lucious on "Empire," and, as previously reported, their on-screen rivalry will be taken to the next stage in the two-part finale. Fans can tune in to see the one-hour showdown on Spike at 10 p.m. EDT on Thursday.

Spike is already giving fans a taste of what’s to come. Clips have been released showing Howard lip-syncing “Brick House” by the Commodores, and he seems seriously dedicated. He wears a wig and a sequin jacket, and he even does a split during the routine. “This is the craziest night of my life,” the actor says.

However, fans won’t just see the “Empire” couple perform. Mary J. Blige (who has guest-starred on the hit show) also will make an appearance. She’ll perform her son “Just Fine” with Henson.

Howard and Henson also are making “Lip Sync Battle” history by teaming up to perform a song. It isn’t “You’re So Beautiful” or anything else from the “Empire” soundtrack, but it is the Academy Award-winning track “It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp” by Three 6 Mafia. The song was written for 2005’s “Hustle & Flow,” which both of the actors starred in.
