An attorney representing the family of a 17-year-old girl from Delaware who had private contact with Congressman Anthony Weiner on Twitter says tweets were not salacious or in any manner inappropriate, and no photographs were ever sent to her, Daniel P. McElhatton said.
This revelation comes amid word from New Castle County Government spokesman C.R. McLeod that investigators have closed their case unless something new arises that needs their attention.
Weiner acknowledged having online contact with the teen, but claimed it was neither explicit nor indecent. Weiner exchanged at least 5 direct messages with the girl on Twitter.
