Christina Aguilera gave birth to her first daughter Saturday, a baby she named Summer Rain Rutler. Aguilera, 33, had her baby via C-section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, reports Us Weekly. This is her second child, and her first with fiancé Matt Rutler. She also has a 6-year-old son, Max, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

Aguilera and Rutler began dating shortly after her breakup with Bratman. He was an assistant and worked with her on her film “Burlesque.”

“Matthew is a special person,” Aguilera told People magazine of the set assistant at the time. “We had a really strong friendship on the movie. He’s the kind of person you could spend hours on the phone talking to, and all of a sudden it’s daylight. Once I filed for divorce, we started dating. I’m not trying to jump into anything. I just left a five-year marriage. I’m taking it slow and trying to be happy.”

Fast-forward four years, and the two are now engaged to be married and have welcomed their first child together. The got engaged on the eve of Valentine’s Day this year.

Prior to giving birth, Aguilera revealed her bare baby bump in a V magazine shoot earlier this month. In the interview, she said, "As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store.”
