Tom Hiddleston has one busy year ahead. In celebration of the actor’s 36th birthday on Thursday, take a look at what his fans can expect from him in the coming months.

Professional Life

Hiddleston had a big year with his role in the award-winning miniseries “The Night Manager” and he’s not slowing down anytime soon. The Golden Globe award-winning UK native has not one, but at least three projects lined up.

The first fans can expect to see in theaters is “Kong: Skull Island.” On March 10, moviegoers can watch Hiddleston play Captain James Conrad, a soldier sent to explore an uncharted land in the Pacific. The action-adventure film (watch the trailer above) will be followed by the highly anticipated “Thor: Ragnarok” in November. Hiddleston will reprise his beloved role of Loki in the Marvel project alongside Chris Hemsworth as Thor.

While Hiddleton’s fans won’t get to see his most recent film until 2018, details about “Early Man” have been released. The actor is said to be voicing the character Lord Nooth in the animated adventure-comedy, which follows a caveman who saves the day. “Game of Thrones” actress Maisie Williams and Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne will also lend their voices to the movie.

Love Life

As for his love life, it looks like Hiddleston is enjoying keeping his private life out of the spotlight for now. While fans aren’t in-the-know about who, if anyone, he’s currently dating, the actor did recently open up about his failed romance with singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

“She’s generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time,” Hiddleston told GQ magazine of their summer 2016 romance, confirming what they had was “real” despite rumors of a publicity fling. After splitting from Swift in September, Hiddleston said he’s trying to figure out how to balance work and his love life.

“I’m still trying to work out a way of having a personal life and protecting it, but also without hiding,” he said, later adding. “I’m not going to live my life in hiding.”
