Lorde has kept a very low profile since releasing her first album “Pure Heroine.” She didn’t make any new music since 2013 except for releasing “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 1” soundtrack “Yellow Flicker Beat.”

The 20-year-old songstress moved to New Zealand after releasing her freshman album and took some time off. Now, the artist is back. She has co-produced every song in her new album.

Although Lorde is busy making music, she will soon hit the road and make a number of appearances in order to promote her sophomore EP. She will first perform on “Saturday Night Live” on March 11 at 11:30 p.m. EST on NBC. Black Widow actress Scarlett Johansson will host the same “SNL” episode. Then, in April, she will perform at Coachella in Indio, California, and then sing at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 30. Finally, the Auckland-born songstress will perform at the Governors Ball in New York in June and Bonnaroo in August.

Lorde received critical acclaim with her first album which had many chart-topping songs such as “Tennis Court,” “Team,” “Royals,” “No Better” and “Glory and Gore.” She has earned two Grammy wins, one Brit Award and a whooping ten New Zealand Music Awards so far. She tasted success at a young age of 16.

Lorde’s new album, which is inspired by David Bowie, drops on June 16, 2017.
